Celebrating 70 Years of Presswork Success
Birmingham metal pressing manufacturer, H T Brigham celebrates 70 years in business this year. The company was established in 1947 by Hugh Terrence Brigham who, with just £80 start-up capital, operated a single hand-press from a garage shed in Birmingham, delivering components locally using his motorcycle and sidecar. He was paid £9 9s 8d on the completion of his first order.

Our expert Quality team applies best practice procedures and process control measures across the manufacturing system for metal pressing conformance. Rigorous controls are further enhanced by equally stringent input from our Production team at each stage of the metal stamping manufacturing cycle.
Our fully automated Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) measures the physical geometrical characteristics of a finished component and is ideal for the measurement of high volume, technically complex components. This, along with a comprehensive range of mechanical and electronic measuring equipment implemented for optimum product inspection, means that we can ensure the highest quality metal stamping output.
